According to The Guardian, a shopper named Helaina Alati was standing in the spice selling area when a worm suddenly appeared.
"It's only 20cm from my face. It was lucky that I was the one who caught it, most people would be scared," said Helaina Alati.
Helaina Alati believes that the reindeer may have originally rolled around behind the spice boxes and that dozens of people must have passed by them without knowing it.
The supermarket representative said that immediately after learning about the incident, the supermarket staff reacted quickly and calmly when promptly bringing customers to a safe area.
The diamond python was then caught and released into a nearby bush.
The Australian Museum said that the diamond has been spotted in Australia's rainforests and national parks, but has not been spotted due to their habit of living at night and moving slowly.
Diamond elephant is no longer as popular in Sydney as before and although not considered endangered, this species is declining in numbers as the habitat is narrowing.
