According to senior military sources, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi has just issued an order to dismiss two commanders of the 17th and 20th Corps.
The 17th Army Corps, led by Volodymyr Silenko, is stationed in Zaporizhzhia province, where the Ukrainian army has lost at least one village on the banks of the Dnipro River.
Meanwhile, the 20th Army Corps, led by Mr. Maksym Kituhin, is stationed in the administrative boundary area between Donetsk and Dnipro provinces, where Russian forces have repeatedly claimed a series of victories.
Also on September 15, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the country's forces had gained additional control of the village of Olhivske in Zaporizhzhia.

According to Vladimir Rogov - a senior official appointed by Russia in the Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhia, the Russian army has penetrated the Ukrainian front line and taken control of about 30km2 of land.
Russia had previously announced a new village in Dnipro province on September 13, saying the country had been flooding since early August, after months of fierce fighting in Donetsk and gaining a significant advantage.
The Russian Defense Ministry said the Russian military had taken control of Novomykolaivka village, extending its list of achievements in Dnipro, when it quickly took Ukraine off from Sichneve village and destroyed a series of equipment and important military facilities of Kiev forces.
In addition to the recently announced advances in the edge of Dnipro province, the Russian army has also increased pressure in some areas of Kharkiv province, especially around the city of Kupiansk. Moscow is also looking to maintain its presence in the northern border area of Sumy province.
