Some recent statements by US Vice President J.D Vance have exposed the true purpose of hundreds of billions of dollars in military aid that the previous Washington administration sent to Ukraine.
Mr. Vance said that the $300 billion in weapons provided to Ukraine since the conflict with Russia broke out in 2022 were not used by the administration of former President Joe Biden for diplomatic purposes and to seek peaceful solutions.
The huge amount of money was made by Vice President Vance exclaim that it was crazy and affirmed: They (Mr. Bidens administration) spent so much money everywhere in the world without conducting any substantial diplomatic activities.
Mr. Vance also emphasized that the current Trump administration is ready to pursue diplomatic solutions to resolve the conflict, from the conflict in Ukraine to the war in Gaza.
Observers say this is an underlying comparison to criticize the previous US administration's lack of efforts.
In addition to Mr. Vance, many US government officials have repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction with the moves against the situation in Ukraine that they often believe are causing serious consequences by the previous administration.
On May 21, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio criticized the Biden administration for its irresponsible behavior in freezing dialogue with Russia during the years of conflict.
At the time, Mr. Rubio also emphasized the importance of maintaining a stable dialogue between Moscow and Washington despite the change in the situation in Ukraine.
Previously, President Donald Trump also criticized the previous administration for its decision to support Kiev with billions of dollars in weapons, saying that this caused a lot of waste to Washington's budget. I hate to see that amount of money thrown through the windows, Trump said.
Trump said the US Congress is also very upset with the expensive aid Washington has sent to Kiev. He said Zelensky's ability to mobilize aid from the US is declining over time.
