The 2025 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship (AVC Champions League) has ended with the championship belonging to Zhetysu (Kazakhstan). Vietnam's representative - VTV Binh Dien Long An won the runner-up position after losing 1-3 to their opponent in the final match.
However, this is a very encouraging result for coach Thai Quang Lai and his team. With this achievement, VTV Binh Dien Long An has secured a ticket to the world championship taking place at the end of this year.
At the award ceremony, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh won the title of Best Striker at AVC Champions League 2025. She scored a total of 97 points after 5 matches and ranked 2nd in the tournament. The athlete born in 2002 had an impressive performance, contributing to helping Long An reach the final of the tournament.
Nguyen Khanh Dang was also awarded the best Libero award of the tournament. She made many saves for the team, especially in the final against the very strong opponent Zhetysu.
Meanwhile, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy received the title of Best Opposite Setter of AVC Champions League 2025. Although she could not help VTV Binh Dien Long An win the championship, the 28-year-old female player showed extremely high performance in this tournament. Notably, she scored the most points in the final with 28 points after 4 sets (performance of 59.57%).
