In the early morning of November 23 (Vietnam time), Al-Nassr hosted Al-Qadisiya at home in the early match of round 11 of the Saudi Arabian national championship (Saudi Pro League) 2024-2025.
Right from the start of the match, Al-Nassr continuously created dangerous opportunities towards the opponent's goal. However, the lack of precision in finishing prevented Al-Nassr from converting the opportunities into goals.
It wasn't until the 32nd minute that Al-Nassr fans' wait was rewarded when Cristiano Ronaldo scored the opening goal. The Portuguese superstar was there at the right time, successfully scoring the rebound after a ball fell close to the goal.
Despite Ronaldo opening the scoring, Al-Nassr could not maintain their advantage. In the 37th minute, Al-Qadisiya unexpectedly equalized when Quinones made a beautiful volley from a pass from the wing, beating goalkeeper Bento and bringing the match back to the starting line.
In the second half, the match continued to be dramatic and full of surprises. Al-Nassr continued to dominate the game, but just 5 minutes into the second half, Al-Qadisiya took the lead. From a save near the sideline by Quinones, he passed the ball to Aubameyang for an accurate header, putting Al-Qadisiya up 2-1.
After conceding the goal, Al-Nassr was forced to attack to find an equalizer. But despite using all their strength, they still could not penetrate Al-Qadisiya's solid defense.
In the end, Al-Nassr had to accept a 1-2 defeat against Al-Qadisiya. This defeat left Ronaldo and his teammates in 3rd place with 22 points and at risk of being overtaken by the top two teams, Al-Hilal (28 points) and Al-Ittihad (27 points).
