Expert on a Smooth Start

The 2025 Asian Cup is the first international arena where the new expert will accompany shooter Trinh Thu Vinh and the Vietnamese shooting team. In front of the press, expert Altantsetseg Byambajavyn has not expressed anything. Because this coach's time in Vietnam is still new and needs enough time to get acquainted to ensure the best expertise for the shooters.
Trinh Thu Vinh once shared that when starting to work with a new expert, the teacher and student get in sync to grasp common points and from there strive to further improve professional skills.
At the shooting range in Thailand, the camera lens continuously focused on the firing platform of the Vietnamese shooters and during the preparation process, many people saw that expert Altantsetseg Byambajavyn always gave very detailed professional analysis to Trinh Thu Vinh.
Sports administrators are under a lot of pressure in shooting after former expert Park Chung-gun terminated his contract to work with the Vietnamese shooting team.
Mr. Park Chung-gun has achieved enough success with the Vietnamese shooting team in many competitions, so the new experts replacing this Korean coach face a lot of pressure.
But clearly, Ms. Altantsetseg Byambajavyn and the coaching staff of the Vietnamese shooting team with the main shooters won the first Gold Medal at the 2025 Asian Cup, so the pressure on their shoulders was significantly reduced.

The representative of the Vietnam Shooting Federation said that expert Altantsetseg Byambajavyn was introduced to work in Vietnam and above all, the coaching board of the Vietnam shooting team has full confidence in the expert's expertise.
Before officially starting to work with the female air pistol team of the Vietnamese shooting team, the Mongolian expert had a very thorough discussion with the shooting team's coaching staff so that everyone could understand and coordinate with each other best.
How to practice properly is always a professional factor that the shooting team's coaching staff and experts cannot reveal to the outside. That is a work secret.
However, what is noticeable at this time is that the shooter's spirit is very comfortable in training and competing in the 2025 Asian Cup. While still competing, expert Altantsetseg Byambajavyn attended the Olympics in 1988 and 1992.
In professional training, the expert is assessed to have accumulated experience and is certified by the International Shooting Federation (ISSF). The interesting point for the Vietnamese shooting team is that for the first time we hired a female expert to train shooters.
Many key figures of Vietnamese female pistols (including Trinh Thu Vinh) need someone who understands their mindset, not just their expertise, so the plan to hire female experts is approved. Women working with women will have their own advantages in their expertise.
In 2024, the Vietnamese shooting team got off to a good start when Trinh Thu Vinh and Pham Quang Huy won the gold medal at the Asian Championship. This year, the shooters continued to "open the season" with a good result, winning the gold medal at the 2025 Asian Cup.
