The Vietnam Volleyball Federation has issued an official notice to change the competition schedule for the second phase of the 2025 National Championship 3 days earlier. Notice sent to the teams from September 12.
The content specifically states the reason for the change in time: On September 11, 2025, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation received an Official Dispatch from the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province regarding the request to change the time of the second phase of the National Volleyball Championship.
To facilitate the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province to be proactive in hosting the International Badminton Tournament from October 17 to 26, 2025, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation announced a change in the organization time of the second phase of the National Volleyball Championship as follows: Time from October 7 to 16, 2025".
The initial schedule is set in the Charter of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, which is the second phase of the tournament, which will be held from October 10 to October 19 at the Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium.
The sudden change of the local Organizing Committee and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation forced 16 teams to rebuild their preparation plans.
Because the teams have reported the plan to carry out logistics, travel and professional training according to the old schedule.
In addition, many foreign players are invited to Vietnam to participate in the tournament in the initial period from October 10 to October 19. When they have to change, the team and players will have to pay for exchanging or buying new air tickets in excess of the plan.
