Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism plans to meet with Vietnam Sports Delegation in Thailand

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Chairman of the Vietnam Olympic Committee Nguyen Van Hung will meet with the Vietnamese sports delegation to attend the 33rd SEA Games.

According to the working program, Minister Nguyen Van Hung will meet and encourage members of the Vietnam Sports Delegation on December 9 in Bangkok (Thailand). The meeting will take place before Vietnamese sports attend the Opening Ceremony of the Congress.

The Vietnamese sports delegation attended the 33rd SEA Games with 1,165 members. Of which, the athlete force of Vietnamese sports is 842 people.

On the afternoon of December 7, members of the Vietnam Sports Delegation were present in Bangkok and Chonburi (Thailand). In which, Head of the Vietnam Sports Delegation - Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh has gone to Thailand.

Meeting and encouraging the spirit of the collective of cadres, coaches, and athletes of Vietnam before the official competition time of the 33rd SEA Games will help members feel more confident and ready to take on the task of achieving the highest achievements. According to the plan, the meeting will be held at the main hotel area of the Vietnam Sports Delegation in Bangkok (Thailand).

The Vietnamese sports delegation is expected to win the first medals on December 10 based on the competition schedule of the main sports. Currently, we have had some sports enter the competition in the first content such as bong da, soccer, badminton. At the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnam Sports Delegation selected athletes Le Thanh Thuy (volleyball) and Le Minh Thuan (karate) to hold the flag.
