VTV Binh Dien Long An faces difficulties
Today (March 12), the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) drew up the groups for the 2025 Asian Women's Club Cup and the 2025 Asian Men's Club Cup. Each men's and women's event has 12 clubs competing, of which 2 representatives of Vietnam are the VTV Binh Dien Long An women's team and Sport Center 3 (Vietnam men's volleyball team).
VTV Binh Dien Long An is ranked as the No. 4 seed of this year's tournament. Coach Thai Quang Lai and his team are in Group C with Baic Motorvolleyball (China), Iran Volleyball (Iran).
This is considered a difficult group for coach Thai Quang Lai and his team as Baic Motorvolleyball is the leading candidate for the championship. The class of Chinese volleyball players is unquestionable. While Iranian girls are also known for their strong, physical playing style.
In the men's event, Sport Center 3 of Vietnam fell into Group D with Al-Rayyan Sports (Qatar) and Bahrain Club (Bahrain).
Thu Hoai opens her heart
On her personal page, setter Nguyen Thu Hoai shared the status: "Currently, I often sit at the company to work. Partly because we calculate how to finish the work as we want it, or finish it first so that when there is urgent matter ( urgency), we will not be too passive.
In addition, I found myself adapting quite quickly to the new working environment. Now, I love this job quite a bit even though there are days when I come home from work. For me, being able to work, think, and develop is always feeling full of energy".
The female athlete also shared a photo of herself now. It is known that setter Thu Hoai has received good news of her first child. However, she still maintains her figure and is increasingly beautiful due to her diet and scientific work.
This is also the reason why the Thai Binh-born female setter temporarily said goodbye to the field. Thu Hoai is working right at the Business Department of the management company of the Vietinbank women's volleyball team.
The Cong Tan Cang increases foreign players
The Cong Tan Cang men's volleyball team has spent a large amount of money to hire 2 foreign players from Cuba to participate in the first phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship. Those two foreign players are Victor Ramon Andreu Flores and Alejandro Rodriguez Fuentes. Both of them are already in Vietnam and joined the team.
Both Victor Ramon Andreu Flores and Alejandro Rodriguez Fuentes play as the main attackers. Alejandro Rodriguez Fuentes is of outstanding height of up to 2m1, has a jump range of 3m78 and has competed in China before coming to Vietnam. Meanwhile, Victor Ramon Andreu Flores is a member of the Cuban youth men's volleyball team, which participated in the World Youth Championship.
