Good news from VTV Binh Dien Long An
On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, VTV Binh Dien Long An Volleyball Club announced its cooperation with PFU Bluecats (Japan). This is the former team of striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy.
With this agreement, the Japanese team will support VTV Binh Dien Long An to train, bring young athletes to compete, and support coaches.
Before the second phase of the 2024 national championship, VTV Binh Dien Long An also had a training session with PFU Bluecats. With useful lessons here, the players showed clear progress and won the championship after 6 years of waiting.
Coach Vu Van Duan shares his joy
Recently, coach of the Ho Chi Minh City Police men's volleyball team Vu Van Duan shared that the two teams sponsored by his private company both reached the finals of the Hanoi student volleyball tournament.
The University of Physical Education and Sports and the Agricultural Academy won first and second prizes respectively. Coach Vu Van Duan expressed on his personal page:
"I am really surprised by this result. I did not think that when my company sponsored two teams, both would reach the finals of the tournament. Thank you to the students for contributing to the tournament with great matches," he wrote.
2025 Women's U21 Volleyball World Cup Draw Date
The 2025 FIFA U-21 Women's Volleyball World Championship for women's national teams under the age of 21 will be held in Indonesia from 4 to 17 August 2025.
From 2025, the number of participating teams will increase from 16 to 24, opening up opportunities for many teams, including U21 Vietnam.
The draw for the tournament will be held at 9:00 p.m. on December 4 (Vietnam time) in Lausanne, Switzerland. The 24 participating teams will be divided into four groups of six teams each. Hosts Indonesia and the continental champions will be seeded the highest.
Under the new format, the top four teams in each group will advance to the round of 16. The remaining teams will continue to participate in a play-off round to determine the rankings from 17th to 24th.
