On September 23, LPB Ninh Binh won 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-22) against Monolith Sky Risers (Philippines) in the second match of Group B, 2024 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship.
The Vietnam Volleyball Federation (AVC) homepage posted an article praising the two pillars of LPB Ninh Binh in the last match: "Bich Tuyen was the athlete who scored the most points in the match with 24 points, helping LPB Ninh Binh have the first victory in this year's tournament.
The Vietnamese representative showed their strength. Besides the excellent leadership of Bich Tuyen, this team also has a middle blocker Nguyen Thi Trinh who plays equally effectively in the center position.
The beauty of former players Ngoc Hoa, Linh Chi, Hong Dao
On her personal page, former setter Hong Dao posted a commemorative photo with two former players Ngoc Hoa and Linh Chi when all three were still playing and wearing the Vietnam women's volleyball team jersey.
Former player Hong Dao shared: "The 3 girls from that year are all mothers now". In the comments, friends and fans all praised the beauty of the 3 former players, especially setter Linh Chi because she has a pretty face and a bright smile.
Currently, Ngoc Hoa is working as a coach for the VTV Binh Dien Long An youth team as well as the Vietnam U20 women's team. Setter Linh Chi is still playing as a reinforcement and is also part of the coaching staff of the Information Corps women's team.
Meanwhile, born in 1994, former setter Hong Dao was once considered the best young setter in Vietnam. She retired at the age of 24 to start a family.
Quang Ninh women's team to Lao Cai
Striker Nguyen Thi Xuan said that after Typhoon Yagi hit, the training facility of the Quang Ninh women's volleyball team was affected and did not meet the training requirements. Therefore, the Quang Ninh team has now moved to Lao Cai to practice, preparing for the second phase of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship.
In phase I, Quang Ninh played 4 matches, won 1 and lost 3, ranked 7th out of 9 women's teams.
