Striker Jakkrit Thanomnoi returns to Vietnam
The coaching staff of the MB Border Guard volleyball team said that the main striker Jakkrit Thanomnoi (Thailand) has returned to play since September 23. Today, Jakkrit Thanomnoi went to the field to practice with the MB Border Guard players.
The MB Border Guard team has arrived early to train in Ninh Binh to get acquainted with the climate and the field before competing in the second phase of the 2025 National Championship.
There have been many speculations that the MB Border Guard team has hired a new foreign player. However, Jakkrit Thanomnoi is still a player trusted by coach Tran Dinh Tien. This hitter has been playing with the MB Border Guard team since 2023. In the finals of 2023 and 2024, Jakkrit Thanomnoi played in the main squad of Border Guard MB. The Thai hitter competed for Border Guard MB in the first phase of this year's tournament.
According to research, the MB Border Guard team only hired 1 foreign player to strengthen. At the end of the first phase of the 2025 National Championship, this team won 5 matches to temporarily finish second in the men's event.
Da Nang team must replace foreign players
The MB Border Guard team still hired foreign player Jakkrit Thanomnoi as in the first phase, but the Da Nang team had to change foreign players. This team has signed a contract with Indonesian volleyball striker Agil Anggara to participate in the second phase of the 2025 National Championship.
However, the Da Nang coaching staff reluctantly replaced foreign players. In the process of preparing for phase 2, the Da Nang team is almost certain to have the return of player Kittithad Nuwaddee (Thailand). However, the hitter could not go to Vietnam due to work in Thailand.
Therefore, the Da Nang team urgently needed to replace the foreign player, so Agil Anggara was the final decision.
Kittithad competed with the Da Nang team to win 4th place in the first stage. However, this team must ensure their achievements in the second stage to be sure to enter the final round. In phase 2, the Da Nang team will play the last 2 matches of the group stage against Sanest Khanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh City Police. After reaching a quick agreement, player Agil Anggara will go to Vietnam on September 25.
Vietnam Volleyball Federation will inspect Ninh Binh Stadium
It is expected that this weekend, the professional department of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will inspect the preparation for the second phase of the 2025 National Championship at Ninh Binh Stadium.
Representatives of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will work with the Ninh Binh Local Organizing Committee on professional preparation and facilities for the competition. Ninh Binh is the locality that hosts the men's and women's events at the same time. Therefore, the requirement to ensure facilities is very high.
This year, Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium hosted the second phase of the 2025 SEA V.League International Volleyball Tournament. Therefore, the local Organizing Committee believes that the facilities will meet the requirements according to the regulations of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation. Before the start of the second phase of the 2025 National Championship, the Organizing Committee will hold a professional meeting and the refereeing work will operate the tournament to ensure minimizing errors.
