Today (October 4), the Loa Thanh Cup women's volleyball tournament was held at the Dong Anh district multi-purpose gymnasium.
This tournament featured four professional women's teams: the Information Corps, VietinBank, Hanoi and Duc Giang Chemicals. After a series of matches that took place in the morning, Duc Giang Chemicals won the championship after a 3-0 victory over the Information Corps.
Striker Tran Tu Linh was voted the best player of the tournament. The prize for the winning team, Duc Giang Chemicals, was up to 100 million VND.
This is considered an opportunity for football teams to play friendly matches, compete, and prepare for phase II of the 2024 national championship.
National Championship may welcome big foreign players
According to many rumors, star Jana Kulan will play for a Vietnamese team in round 2 of the 2024 national championship.
Kulan is a famous athlete, with the peak of her career being her time competing in the Japanese national championship. She is Azerbaijani of Slovak origin, born in 1987, and is 1m98 tall. In addition to Japan, Kulan has competed in Türkiye, Russia, and South Korea.
She once held the scoring record in the No. 1 volleyball tournament in Japan. With her proven talent and rich experience, Kulan is highly anticipated by fans to soon reach an agreement with the Vietnamese team.
VTV Binh Dien Long An completes training
Today, VTV Binh Dien Long An has just finished a 10-day training trip in Japan under a cooperation agreement with PFU Blue Cats club.
