National Youth Club Volleyball Tournament 2026 changes time of organization
According to the announcement just issued by the Vietnam Volleyball Federation, the 2026 National Youth Club Volleyball Tournament will still take place in Ninh Binh.
However, the tournament's organization time was changed. Initially, the organization time specified in the Charter was from July 15 to July 26. Now, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation has decided to switch to a new time from July 17 to July 28.
The tournament is still for 8 men's teams and 8 women's teams, which are youth teams of teams participating in the 2026 National Club Championship.
According to regulations, teams are required to participate to ensure the training of young athletes in accordance with professional regulations.
Previously, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation also issued a notice to change the schedule of the 2026 National U23 Championship.
The tournament will not be held in June as planned but will be moved to September to ensure that it does not overlap with many international tasks of the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team.
Mr. Ha Vu Son becomes Deputy Secretary General of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation
The Vietnam Volleyball Federation has just appointed Mr. Ha Vu Son to take on the role of Deputy Secretary General cum Head of the International Relations, Legal Affairs and Disciplinary Rewards Department.
Mr. Ha Vu Son is an official in charge of volleyball at the Ho Chi Minh City Sports Center. At the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (2026-2031), Mr. Ha Vu Son was elected to the list of 25 members of the Executive Committee.
When he was a playing player, Mr. Ha Vu Son grew up with high-performance volleyball in Ho Chi Minh City and his forte was in the setter position.
Thus, currently, the Secretariat of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation for term 8 (2026-2031) has 1 General Secretary, Mr. Le Tri Truong (concurrently concurrently holding the position of Vice President) and 3 Deputy General Secretary personnel.
