Freestyle juggling athlete Do Kim Phuc has just received an invitation from Mr. Javier Tebas - President of La Liga to perform at the Spanish national championship next February.
This information was also shared on the tournament's official fanpage on the afternoon of January 23. Accordingly, Kim Phuc will perform at the stadiums of Spain's biggest clubs including Wanda Metropolitano (Atletico Madrid), Olimpic Lluis Companys (Barcelona) and Reale Arena (Real Sociedad).
The Vietnamese representative also became the first juggling artist to be invited to perform at Olimpic Lluis Companys - the stadium that Barcelona has used since 2023.
This event is a proud milestone not only for Do Kim Phuc but also for Vietnamese fans, as for the first time a Vietnamese athlete performed at the home stadium of the most successful football club in the world.
Do Kim Phuc got this special opportunity thanks to his successful performance in the match between Alaves and Atletico Madrid in April 2024. His performance with strong Vietnamese colors attracted 200 million viewers on all platforms.
Recognizing that success, in 2025, La Liga decided to continue to invite Vietnamese freestyle athletes to perform at the largest stadiums in Spain.
"I am very honored and proud to be invited by La Liga to perform. This is a great opportunity to introduce Vietnamese talent to Spanish audiences and the world," said Do Kim Phuc.
According to the schedule, Kim Phuc will perform artistic football at 3 matches between Atletico Madrid - Villareal (January 25), Barcelona - Alaves (February 2), Real Sociedad - Espanyol (February 10).
Do Kim Phuc (born in 1989) is one of the veteran freestyle athletes in Vietnam. He won the 2013 Asian Freestyle Championship and was in the top 4 of the 2023 World Championship.
In addition to football expertise, Do Kim Phuc is also an influencer on social networks, owning a Tiktok channel with nearly 4 million followers, a YouTube channel with 2.6 million followers and a Facebook page with 2.1 million likes.
