On the morning of April 16, at the Hall of Ho Chi Minh City Economics University (UEH), the launch and drawing ceremony took place for the Group - UEH League student football tournament 2025.
Attending the launch and drawing ceremony, there were Cong Phuong and 4 other players currently playing for Binh Phuoc fresh school club including: Bui Tan Truong, Huynh Tan Sinh, Ho Tuan Tai and Le Thanh Binh.
The appearance of the Binh Phuoc players has created a lively atmosphere. Many students are excited to exchange football skills with professional players.
Speaking at the ceremony, striker Nguyen Cong Phuong had advice to Vietnamese students on the path of pursuing passion for football.
He said: "In my opinion, a school must have a team and build a team in a professional direction. Of course, there must be many new sponsors to build.
Therefore, schools and sponsors work together to build football not only for students but also towards developing Vietnamese football, which is a very good way. This Ueh League tournament, I hope many schools will follow this model. "
The Group - UEH League 2025 is gathered 10 students from the school's faculties, institutes and dormitories. The tournament will take place from April to November this year, with a total of 49 matches held at the football field of the UEH Basic Sports Area Nguyen Van Linh (Binh Chanh District).
Solving the circle format in the group stage. The 4 teams with the highest achievement will enter the semi -finals, where the top team met the fourth team, the second team against the third team.
The two winning teams will compete for the championship, and the two losing teams will compete in the third prize. In addition, teams with the lowest achievement will have to play play-off to gain the right to attend the next season.
