The leaders of the Dutch Football Federation expressed their interest and said that they will study specific cooperation programs with VFF in the coming time, especially in the field of developing youth football and women's football.

President Tran Quoc Tuan had an important meeting with President of the Brazilian Football Federation Ednaldo Rodrigues, discussing the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between VFF and the Brazilian Football Federation, signed last March during the State visit to Vietnam by President of the Federative Republic of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
In the content of this memorandum of understanding, the two sides pledged to strengthen cooperation in many fields to promote the development of Vietnamese and Brazilian football, emphasize coordination in organizing regional and international football meetings and conferences; exchanging experts, coaches, and teams at all levels; and sharing experiences in managing and organizing professional tournaments.

In addition, the memorandum of understanding also mentioned supporting the national teams of the two countries in training and friendly matches, as well as creating opportunities for youth teams (from U21 and under) to participate in international tournaments.
The cooperation programs also include knowledge exchange activities on sports medicine, rehabilitation and football facilities management.
