Head of the Vietnamese sports delegation - Mr. Dao Duc Kien - and members of the delegation have gone to Bahrain to prepare for the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival.
At the meeting to encourage the Vietnam Sports Delegation to set off, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports Nguyen Hong Minh hoped that all members would focus on competing to achieve the highest results to bring glory to the Fatherland.
We registered 75 members to attend this congress. Of which, the coaching force is 15 people, the athletes are 50 people. Vietnamese sports will compete in events including athletics, badminton, jujitsu, judo, weightlifting, boxing, weightlifting, taekwondo, cycling, muay and golf. The achievement target is to win 3 to 4 gold medals.

The congress will open on October 22 local time. After being present in Bahrain, the Head of the Vietnam Sports Delegation will decide on the players to hold the flag at the Opening Ceremony of the Congress.
From October 23, the subjects will officially enter the competition. Vietnamese sports will have some competitions on the first day.
The 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival is the 3rd time it has been held. At the second event held in 2023 in China, Vietnamese sports won 5 gold medals, 4 silver medals, 2 bronze medals.
