Bac Ninh Club has sent a document to Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) proposing to invite a foreign international referee to officiate the Play-off match of Golden Star Beer 2025-2026 against PVF-CAND.
According to the plan, the match will take place on June 12th at Ha Tinh Stadium. This is a decisive match for a ticket to participate in the 2026-2027 V.League season.
In a document sent to VPF, Bac Ninh club said that the proposal to use foreign referees aims to contribute to ensuring objectivity, transparency as well as improving the professional quality of this particularly important match.
Kinh Bac team expressed their desire to cooperate with the tournament organizers to create conditions for the match to be fair, attractive and professional, meeting the great interest from fans.
In addition, Bac Ninh club believes that the appearance of international referees in the play-off match can create a positive effect for the tournament, and at the same time contribute to enhancing the professional image of Vietnamese football.
The play-off match between Bac Ninh and PVF-CAND received much attention as both teams set a goal to win the right to play in the V.League next season.
