Kim Dong-su played for Hoang Anh Gia Lai in the 2021 season and left a strong impression. With solid playing style, good judgment and ideal physique, he contributed to helping the mountain town team continuously lead the rankings until the tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the 2022 season, he continued to play in the AFC Champions League and had two more matches in the V.League before saying goodbye to the team to return to Korea to perform mandatory military service.
After more than 2 years of absence, Kim Dong-su has completed his service in his hometown and is on the journey to find an opportunity to return to professional football.
