On February 21, Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) conducted an inspection of the quality of the Ha Tinh Stadium turf and concluded that the field surface had not met the maximum quality requirements.
Therefore, the Ha Tinh Province Sports Training and Competition Center has purchased 200m2 of grass to patch the field surface in areas with poor grass.
After 2 days of basic repair, the total area of repaired grass is about 100m2. The center will temporarily plant the imported grass in the reserve area so that when needed, it can continue to patch the field surface.
"I think after the repair, Ha Tinh's pitch has been guaranteed to be of good quality for the match of Hong Linh Ha Tinh on February 28. This afternoon, Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company will come to inspect and evaluate to make a decision on whether the quality of the stadium after the repair is qualified to organize the competition or not," Ms. Huong shared.
Previously, after checking, the representative of the organizing committee determined that the grass surface was still soft and some areas on the field had poor grass. The Ha Tinh Provincial Sports Center has requested an extension of 3 days to implement remedial measures.
VPF has agreed to extend the time until February 24 to complete the repair of Ha Tinh Stadium. In case the stadium does not meet the standards at this time, Hong Linh Ha Tinh club will have to play in the reserve stadium in the match against Thanh Hoa in round 15 of V.League.
