On the afternoon of December 2, the U22 Vietnam team completed its final training session before the opening match against U22 Laos in Group B of the 33rd SEA Games men's football tournament. The training atmosphere took place urgently and focused, clearly demonstrating the determination of the whole team before the Congress.
Sharing with the media before the training session, striker Nguyen Dinh Bac said that the whole team is in very good spirits and ready for the goal of winning all 3 points on the opening day. He said: "The whole team is very excited and determined. It is difficult to predict, but we will try our best to have a smooth start.

When asked about the 3-0 victory of U23 Vietnam over U23 Laos in the opening match of the U23 Southeast Asian tournament last July, Dinh Bac emphasized: Each tournament is a different story. The teams in the region have all improved, so tomorrow's match is certainly not easy. We have to focus to the maximum to get the desired results".
The important goal that helped Hanoi Police continue to the AFC Champions League Two recently also gave the striker born in 2004 a lot of inspiration. He shared: "That goal gave me great motivation before joining the national team. It comes at the right time and adds confidence".
For the first time taking on the position of vice captain of the Vietnam U22 team, Dinh Bac expressed his pride: "That is both a responsibility and a joy. I will try to play to the best of my ability to contribute to the team's victories".
Dinh Bac shared more about being allowed by the club to gather earlier than expected. According to Dinh Bac, that is something he really appreciates: I told Mr. Mano Polking (coach of the Hanoi Police team) that this is my first SEA Games, fans are eagerly waiting for this tournament. I hope you understand and create conditions to have the best time to integrate. Fortunately, everything went smoothly.
The match between U22 Vietnam and U22 Laos will take place at 4:00 p.m. tomorrow (December 3).
