In November 2024, the Vietnam team did not play any friendly matches during FIFA Days and still kept the same score of 1161.11.
However, coach Kim Sang-sik's team surprisingly jumped 3 places from 119th in October to 116th.
Vietnam's promotion was partly due to other teams having their points deducted due to poor performance in the FIFA Days matches in November.

With 116th place on the FIFA rankings, the Vietnamese team continues to maintain its 2nd place in Southeast Asia, just behind Thailand (97th).
The Thai team lost 3.51 points after a 1-1 draw with the underdogs Laos. Thailand remains the only Southeast Asian team in the top 100.
Indonesia, ranked 3rd in Southeast Asia, has made great progress with a 16.24 point increase thanks to a surprising 2-0 victory over Saudi Arabia in the 2026 World Cup Asian qualifiers. Currently, the team is ranked 125th in FIFA.
In Asia, Japan maintained its top position, ranking 15th in the FIFA rankings. It was followed by Iran at 18th, South Korea at 23rd, and then Australia (26th), Qatar (48th), Iraq (56th), Uzbekistan (58th) and Saudi Arabia (59th).
