On February 13, in Hanoi, the signing ceremony, announcement of sponsors and drawing of lots for the national volleyball championship - Ca Mau Fertilizer Cup 2025 took place.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Tri Truong - General Secretary of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV) - shared: "In recent times, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation and the national championship have received investment from clubs, promoted communication work, and sponsorship activities. The tournament also received support from businesses.
The success of the national championship last year also contributed to the overall achievements of Vietnamese teams, for example, the Vietnamese U20 women's team qualified to participate in the U21 World Cup and the national team participated in the 2025 World Cup.
Accordingly, the 2025 National Volleyball Championship will have 8 men's teams and 8 women's teams participating. The format will be a round-robin tournament, with the top 4 teams qualifying for the finals and the bottom 4 teams qualifying for the relegation round. At the end of the tournament, there will be 1 champion and 1 relegated team.
This year, phase 1 will take place at Dong Anh District Gymnasium, Hanoi from March 22-31 and phase 2 from October 10-19, at Ninh Binh Gymnasium.

Regarding the preparation for the tournament, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phuc - Director of the Dong Anh District Culture, Sports and Information Center - said: "Dong Anh District Gymnasium has a capacity of 3,000 seats and will be put into use at the end of 2024. This is a convenient location to organize indoor tournaments such as volleyball. Currently, preparations for the tournament are being actively carried out."
Regarding the prize structure, the champion team will receive a flag, cup, medal and 500 million VND; the runner-up team will receive 300 million VND; the third-place team will receive 200 million VND and the consolation team will receive 100 million VND.
Individual awards such as best attacker/best setter/best defender receive 10 million VND.
