On February 4, the People's Committee of Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province to organize the 27th Ta Cu Mountain Climbing Tournament in Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province in 2025.

This year's tournament has the participation of 385 athletes (236 men) from 54 delegations from 10 provinces and cities. Male athletes compete in the 6,300 m distance (4,000 m run and 2,300 m climb), while the 5,300 m distance (3,000 m run and 2,300 m climb) is for women.

According to the Organizing Committee, the tournament contributes to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the first days of spring and further developing the movement of physical exercise and sports.
This is also an opportunity for teams and athletes to practice and compete in mountain climbing. At the same time, it also contributes to promoting the image and national landscape of the famous Ta Cu Mountain Pagoda to tourists.

The athletes competed enthusiastically with strong physical strength and highly specialized tactics. On the mountain climbing terrain, there were functional forces to ensure security, order and health.
At the end of the tournament, in the men's category, athlete Le Van Tuan (Binh Duong) excellently won the King of Mountaineering award; athlete Le Huu Loc (Dong Nai) won second place and athlete Do Duy Thang (Binh Thuan) won third place.

In the women's category, athlete Nguyen Thi Thanh Tuyen (Binh Thuan) won the title of Queen of Mountaineering; Second place went to athlete Le Thi Ha (Binh Thuan).
Binh Thuan team ranked first overall, second overall went to Dong Nai province and third overall went to Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
