The finals of the men's and women's events of the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament ended in Ha Tinh and also determined the additional teams to participate in the 2026 National Championship.
The two teams of Ho Chi Minh City men's team and Hanoi women's team won the A-League this year, so they will receive a place to participate in the 2026 National Championship.
The list of 8 women's teams competing in the 2026 National Championship has been specifically determined including: VTV Binh Dien Long An (reigning champion), LPBank Ninh Binh, Information Corps, Vietinbank, Duc Giang Chemicals, Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement, Hung Yen and Hanoi. In the 2025 season, the Ho Chi Minh City women's team was relegated.
The list of 8 men's teams of the 2026 National Championship includes: Border Guard MB (reigning champion), The Cong Tan Cang, Ho Chi Minh City Police, LPBank Ninh Binh, Hanoi, Da Nang, Sanest Khanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh City. The Tay Ninh team was relegated at the 2025 National Championship.
Currently, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation is developing a plan and method to organize the 2026 National Championship. According to Lao Dong's research, the management is still aiming to compete in the tournament in 2 phases as is being done.

The 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament is the final tournament of the year for volleyball (home) in Vietnam. After the tournament, the volleyball department (Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports) and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will have a professional summary assessment to draw experience on organization work, thereby doing better in the profession in 2026.
This year is also the first year that the Vietnam Volleyball Federation has installed the Video Challenge Eyes system at the National Championship and the National A-Class Championship finals. At the same time, the matches were broadcast live on social networking platforms and television for fans to watch and cheer.
