Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC 2024) brings together 16 excellent teams from Arena of Glory (AOG), AOV Star League (ASL), Garena Challenger Series (GCS), and RoV Pro League (RPL) regions to compete in 4 stages to win prizes from a total prize pool of up to 500,000 USD (more than 12 billion VND).
The tournament will conclude with a competition between the four best teams in the semi-finals and finals, held in front of live audiences in Ho Chi Minh City.
16 teams officially participated in the AIC arena this year with 5 representatives from each region RPL, AOG, GCS and 1 representative from ASL. Representatives from Vietnam participating in the competition include Saigon Phantom, One Star Esports, The DareDevil Team, FPT x Flash, and Super Heavy.
AIC 2024 will open with a completely new stage. Before the intense confrontations between the teams take place, the audience will witness the dramatic 1v1 Tournament from November 30 to December 1.
Through votes from the audience of 4 regions, each of the 16 teams will select 1 representative to compete to find the "Best 1v1 Player". In particular, AoV (Lien Quan Mobile) fans can accompany their favorite players with votes.
The tournament will then officially enter the Swiss round, which will take place from December 5 to 15, a competition format that was previously used in the AoV Premier League in July. Here, teams with similar scores will face each other in each round. Teams that lose 3 matches before the end of the round will face the risk of being eliminated from the tournament.
The 8 best teams will advance to the quarter-finals, which will take place from December 19 to 22. The highlight of the tournament will be the competition between the 4 strongest teams in the semi-finals and finals on December 28 and 29 in Ho Chi Minh City.
