This is the 4th VnExpress Marathon Ha Long, with a familiar running track on the beautiful shore of Ha Long Bay.
According to the Organizing Committee, both running and traveling have become a specialty of VnExpress Marathon Ha Long, in line with the tourism - sports trend that has been developing in recent years.
This year's tournament has the participation of more than 10,000 athletes, of which about 50% are first-time registered athletes.
Following the success of the previous 3 seasons, the tournament continues to be a place where physical endurance and the spectacular beauty of nature intersect.
The running route embraces the green bay, leading through the most typical destinations of Ha Long, all of which will bring a journey that is both challenging, eye-catching and emotional.
In this year's tournament, the organizing committee continues to coordinate with the Vietnam Athletics Federation in the tournament's professional work. The entire running route of the race is measured and certified by the Federation.
To ensure maximum organization, the distances will start and finish at two main points.
The group of 5 km, 10 km, 21 km started at the road area next to Sun Square, Bai Chay Ward.
The 42 km distance will start at Nguyen Khac Khang Street, Vinhomes Park, across the famous Bai Chay Bridge, then go straight to Tuan Chau Island - a place considered a "pearl in the middle of the bay".
The distances will come together at the gate in the Ngoc Tho street area next to Sun Square.
The schedule of this year's race will be for 3 days, from May 30 to June 1, 2025. In the first 2 days, the organizing committee opened the Bib distribution area and items for athletes at Sun Carnival Square.
In addition, the activities of the organizing committee's booths at the Expo area taking place over the two days will bring a vibrant atmosphere throughout the event days.
Not only a race, VnExpress Marathon Ha Long is also an experience journey that connects the whole family.
While adults can choose a distance of 5 to 42km, competing from 3am on June 1, children from 6 to 10 years old will be able to participate in Kun Marathon on the morning of May 31 - a running route of about 700m long, completely free.
This is a gentle, safe playground, helping children practice physical exercise, become more confident, active and create happy memories with family and friends of the same age.
To ensure professionalism and absolute safety on the entire route, the organizing committee arranged 15 water stations and 12 health stations to support athletes with a personnel of more than 250 crew members, more than 1,000 volunteers, along with medical staff and local police.
