Sharing his feelings after the big win, coach Vu Hong Viet of Nam Dinh said: "I was a bit surprised with this score, playing at Binh Duong Stadium is always difficult. Luckily, in this match, the players took advantage of the opportunities and won.
I watched Binh Duong's previous matches and assessed that they would play with 2 foreign players and 1 naturalized player. But when I learned that the team did not have any foreign players, I was also very surprised. I think a team without a full squad will affect their playing style."
Currently, coach Kim Sang-sik of the Vietnamese team has not yet called up Nam Dinh players. When asked about the players who are capable of joining the team, Mr. Viet commented: "I think Van Toan, Hong Duy, Van Vi and Hoang Anh are capable. I think Tuan Anh's current physical condition is not good. I really like Tuan Anh's expertise. But his current physical condition is not guaranteed."
Regarding the performance of Nguyen Xuan Son - the player who scored a hat-trick in Nam Dinh's victory, coach Vu Hong Viet said: "Before this match, Son had a bit of a problem, being tense in his ability to score. In the previous match, he missed the last opportunities to score. This afternoon, Son did well and scored 3 goals. This is the motivation for Son to continue to develop in the next match."
