Leaders of the Vietnamese sports delegation visit and encourage U22 Vietnam

The leaders of the Vietnamese sports delegation directly visited and encouraged U22 Vietnam in Bangkok on their journey to participate in the 33rd SEA Games.

On the afternoon of December 7 in Bangkok (Thailand), right after the training session of the Vietnam U22 team, Head of the Vietnamese sports delegation at the 33rd SEA Games Nguyen Hong Minh and Deputy Head of the Hoang Quoc Vinh delegation visited and encouraged the whole team in the preparation for the final match of Group B against Malaysia U22.

During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh acknowledged the sense of responsibility and professionalism of the U22 Vietnam team in the process towards the 33rd SEA Games. The Head of the delegation also congratulated the team for having a smooth start with a victory over U22 Laos, and emphasized that U22 Vietnam is carrying the trust and great expectations from fans nationwide.

On behalf of the leaders of the Vietnam Department of Physical Training and Sports and the Vietnamese sports delegation, Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh suggested that the players maintain their concentration and make maximum efforts to complete the set goals. He also noted that the team continues to demonstrate a noble sportsmanship, compete fair-play and respect opponents, thereby building a beautiful image for Vietnamese football as well as contributing to the overall achievements of the delegation at the Congress.

Captain Khuat Van Khang, on behalf of the entire team, thanked the leaders of the Vietnamese sports delegation for their attention, and said that U22 Vietnam is focusing on the match against U22 Malaysia and is determined to play their best to aim for victory.

The match between U22 Vietnam and U22 Malaysia will take place on December 11, at Rajamangala Stadium. This is considered a "group final" match when the two teams compete directly for a ticket to the semi-finals of the 33rd SEA Games men's football tournament.
