In the solemn and bustling atmosphere of the 33rd SEA Games, host Thailand held a flag-raising ceremony for sports delegations in order.
The Vietnamese sports delegation led by Head of the delegation Nguyen Hong Minh attended the event with officials and athletes of the national swimming team.
According to the arrangement of the Organizing Committee, the flag-raising ceremony of the Vietnamese sports delegation will be held near the end, before the ceremony for the host country Thailand.

Sharing at the event, 18-year-old swimmer Trinh Truong Vinh said: "This is the first time I have attended the flag-raising ceremony. I feel very honored, touched and proud to be in the ranks of Vietnamese sports at this important event. That makes me even more determined to compete better, contributing to the overall success of the Vietnam Sports Delegation at this SEA Games".
For athletes and officers stationed in Chonburi, the second flag-raising ceremony is scheduled to take place on December 11.

For the Vietnam Sports Delegation, the moment the National Day is flying in Bangkok is not only a national pride but also a commitment to accompany ASEAN in promoting peace and friendship through sports.
Each athlete entering the SEA Games carries the color of the Vietnamese flag and shirt, while contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity in the region - the value that has and will continue to create a strong, prosperous and aspirational ASEAN.
