In the women's event, Group A has the appearance of VTV Binh Dien Long An, Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement, Vietinbank. Group B includes LPB Ninh Binh, Geleximco Thai Binh, Information Corps.
Meanwhile, in the men's event, Group C will have the presence of Border Guard, Lavie Long An, The Cong Tan Cang. Group D includes LPB Ninh Binh, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City Police.
In this year's tournament, two traditional teams, Sanest Khanh Hoa (men) and Hoa Chat Duc Giang Lao Cai (women), did not participate, causing many fans to regret.

In addition, the tournament regulations allow clubs to recruit a maximum of 2 foreign players. However, during the competition period, there is only a maximum of 1 foreign player on the field. This contributes to creating competition for teams.
