The 2024 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament has found the two strongest women's teams to enter the finals, namely Kinh Bac Bac Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City.
The team from the city named after Uncle Ho is in good form, winning all 5 matches without losing a set, including a 3-0 win over Bac Ninh in the group stage.
For their part, Bac Ninh won 4 matches (losing 2 sets), and lost only 1 match against Ho Chi Minh City. However, the nature of the final match is completely different. Each men's and women's event will only take exactly 1 promotion spot to play in the national championship in the 2025 season.
Both Ho Chi Minh City and Bac Ninh were relegated in the 2023 season. After 1 season playing in the A division, both sides are determined to return to the national championship in the 2025 season.
Investing in this goal, Ho Chi Minh City recruited quality foreign players, Onuma Sittirak and Yanisleidis Sanchez Vinent. Bac Ninh also brought in Kuttika Kaewpin, Nguyen Huynh Phuong Thuy, and Ha Le Khanh. This is expected to be an extremely dramatic final match and will most likely last for 5 sets.
