Mbappe, Vinicius, Bellingham help Real Madrid beat Atalanta

Early morning of December 11 (Vietnam time), Real Madrid had a hard-fought 3-2 victory on Atalanta's field in the 2024-2025 UEFA Champions League.

Real Madrid quickly materialized their determination to win by deploying an overwhelming attacking strategy from the very first minutes. The Spanish team took just 10 minutes to open the scoring thanks to Kylian Mbappe's powerful finish.

However, after the early goal, Real Madrid could not maintain their dominance. Atalanta gradually regained the initiative and created many dangerous situations towards Thibaut Courtois' goal. The excellence of center-back Antonio Rudiger helped Real avoid many dangerous situations.

Everything suddenly changed at the end of the first half when Aurelien Tchouameni fouled Kolasinac in the penalty area, creating an opportunity for Charles De Ketelaere to successfully take the penalty, equalizing the score 1-1 for Atalanta.

In the second half, Real Madrid quickly regained control of the game. Vinicius Junior restored the advantage for the visitors in the 56th minute, and just 3 minutes later, Jude Bellingham helped the Spanish team take a 3-1 lead with a delicate dribble and shot.

Despite being 2 goals behind, Atalanta did not give up and reduced the score to 2-3 thanks to Ademola Lookman in the 65th minute. In the remaining minutes, the home team continued to put strong pressure on Real Madrid's goal, but could not score another goal.

In the end, Real Madrid won 3-2. The three important points helped coach Carlo Ancelotti's team rise to 18th place with 9 points, while Atalanta dropped to 9th place with 11 points.
