Jake Paul will fight legend Mike Tyson at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on the afternoon of November 16 (Vietnam time).
After eight knockout-free rounds, all three judges scored the fight 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73, giving Paul a unanimous victory.
Boxing legend Mike Tyson's return to the ring for the first time since 2005 attracted much attention. He was 58 years old but was still able to last 8 rounds, each lasting 2 minutes. Paul, only 27 years old, was superior and faster than his senior.
Assessing Paul's skills after the match, Tyson commented: "He is a very good boxer. He deserves complete respect."
This is Tyson's first official fight since 2005, but he has not said whether he will return to the ring. The 31-year age gap between Tyson and Paul is also the largest in professional boxing history, surpassing the 24-year gap between Archie Moore (49) and Mike DiBiase (25) in a 1963 contest.
Tyson is a heavyweight boxing legend, still holding the record as the youngest champion in history with the WBC belt in late 1986, at the age of 20. During his professional career, he lost 6 and won 50 matches, with 44 knock-out victories.
Paul only started his boxing career in 2020 with six straight wins, mostly against former MMA fighters. Paul's only loss was to Tommy Fury in February 2023, but he has since won five straight, including a win over Tyson.
