Let's review the worst rookie Premier League squad of the 2017-20 season according to Four FourTwo:
Goalkeeper: Joe Hart (West Ham)
loaned from Man City, after only the first 4 months, Joe Hart has conceded 33 goals in 14 matches. He also lost his official position to Adrian.
Right-back: Pablo Zabaleta (West Ham)
The Man City veteran has shown a lack of pace at the age of 33. Having played a lot, Zabaleta cannot help West Ham avoid conceding 67 goals up to this point.
Center back: Michael Keane (Everton)
He is now just a shadow of himself compared to last season at Burnley. Keane's replacement at Burnley James Tarkowski even took his place at the English Open.
Center back: Jairo Riedewald (Crystal Palace) While Davinson Sanchez was successful at Tottenham, his former teammates at Ajax Amsterdam failed to prove their ability.
Riedewald has only started once and sat on the bench once under coach Frank de Boer.
Under coach Roy Hodgson, he has only started 3 matches when he switched to playing as a defensive midfielder.
left-back: Patrice Evra (West Ham)
After being sacked by Marseille, Evra was signed by The Hammers. However, he continues to be another failed rookie for West Ham in defense this season.
Midfielder: Renato Sanches (Swansea)
loaned from Bayern Munich, Renato Sanches could not regain his form at Swansea. In his 12 Premier League appearances, his most memorable image was his pass to... the billboard at Stamford Bridge.
Midfielder: Tiemoue Bakayoko (Ch Chelsea)
Once a factor that brought Monaco success last season, Bakayoko felt uncomfortable in balancing the task of attack and defense at Chelsea. The recent match against Liverpool was a rare good performance for him.
Midfielder: Davy Klassen (Everton)
Also a Ajax veteran, Klassen has only played 6 Premier League games in the 2017-2019 season. He is rarely on Everton's squad.
Striker: Guido Carrillo (Southampton)
Carrillo has been unlucky in eight Premier League games for the Saints. Coach Mark Hughes only mentioned him on the bench in the match against Swansea early this morning (May 9) after completely abandoning the previous 5 matches.
Striker: Alvaro Morata (Ch Chelsea)
The Premier League's 11 goals in 29 appearances may not be commensurate with the striker's £60 million value. In the last 11 matches in this arena, Morata has only "scored" once.
Striker: Kelechi Iheanacho (Le Leicester)
The former Man City striker has only scored 1 goal for Leicester in 19 Premier League games (5 starts). He is unlikely to compete in attack against Leicester Jamie Vardy.
