Volleyball is a sport of interest, so every tournament creates significant promotion, said General Secretary of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation - Mr. Le Tri Truong at the launching ceremony of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.
This is the highest tournament in terms of expertise for volleyball in the national competition system. The hitter of VTV Binh Dien Long An received attention thanks to her professional development and her return from foreign tournaments.
This year, the National Volleyball Championship has 8 women's teams participating. Each team prepares professional forces. However, no team has had an influential face like Tran Thi Thanh Thuy.
General Secretary Le Tri Truong also expressed that any sports tournament must need athletes with images that attract fans. The success of the tournament was partly contributed by the efforts of famous players. The national volleyball championship starts with a fee from television copyright (from 2024). Business people clearly understand that attraction must come from professional quality and the image of a competitor (there is a specific athlete). If the tournament did not have this, there would not be much success.
The Vietnam National Volleyball Championship has foreign players returning to compete since 2022 and they have made an image. However, fans are only waiting for Vietnamese players to compete at the best level and they are willing to spend money to buy tickets to the stadium to cheer wholeheartedly if the domestic athlete is a successor.
