According to the newly announced list, the Border Guard club has 6 members focusing on the Vietnam men's volleyball team. They are coach Tran Dinh Tien, 5 players including Dinh Van Duy, Tran Duy Tuyen, Nguyen Ngoc Thuan, Truong The Khai and Pham Van Hiep.
This is the framework that coach Tran Dinh Tien has brought to the national team in recent times. Dinh Van Duy is a player who is receiving a lot of expectations as he will mark his return after a period of injury. The male player is the best setter in Vietnamese men's volleyball at present.
He has demonstrated his ability and affirmed his role in both the club and the national team. This player plays the role of conductor in the home team's playing style with virtual passes and good connections with surrounding satellites such as Nguyen Ngoc Thuan, Duy Tuyen...

Meanwhile, through the first tournaments of the year with the Border Guard team, the duo Duy Tuyen and Ngoc Thuan are showing their high performance. Ngoc Thuan is a player who contributed greatly to Border Guard's 2025 Hung Vuong Cup championship. Smart playing style, strong hitting power that makes opponents unable to defend has become the brand of the male striker.
As for Duy Tuyen, the male player born in 2001 has a strong point in finishing in 3rd place, playing good, fast, and elite ball defense, especially quick smashes on the net. Calmness and relaxation also help Duy Tuyen express herself more.
Talking to Lao Dong, middle blocker Tran Duy Tuyen shared: "The recent 2025 Hung Vuong Cup championship helps me and 4 other teammates have more motivation to be ready to focus on the national team. Being led by coach Tran Dinh Tien and many other teammates in the Border Guard to focus helps me easily grasp the playing style, spirit and integrate earlier.
This year, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team has many international tournaments, including mentioning the mission at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand. There will certainly be many difficulties ahead, but I and the Border Guard players will promote their abilities and demonstrate the spirit of soldiers in training and competition.
I believe that with a spirit of determination and solidarity, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team will have positive results, meeting the expectations of fans".

Meanwhile, coach Tran Dinh Tien shared after the 2025 Hung Vuong Cup: "After the 2025 Hung Vuong Cup, we will focus on the best athletes to join the national team.
The highest goal set for the Vietnam men's volleyball team is to compete in the best results at the 33rd SEA Games. This is still our key goal. Through each training session, the coaching staff will have specific options".
Of the 5 players of the Border Guard team called up to the national team, only captain Pham Van Hiep made fans worried. He was determined to have suffered a rather serious knee injury after the 2025 Hung Vuong Cup semi-final when Border Guard met Tan Cang.
This excellent setter expressed her desire to play with coach Tran Dinh Tien. As a result, he still played in the final match but due to his physical condition, Pham Van Hiep's performance was not at his best. Therefore, Mr. Tran Dinh Tien and the coaching staff will certainly have preparations to help the Border Guard players regain their physical condition soon.
According to the plan, the Vietnam men's volleyball team will gather from April 15 at the National Training Center of Da Nang to prepare for the first tournament in 2025, the Asian Club Championship, taking place from May 11 to May 18 in Japan.
