At the closing ceremony of the 15th VTV9 - Binh Dien Cup in 2026, representatives of the tournament organizing committee affirmed that the 16th competition program of this tournament will take place in Dong Nai city. The venue for the tournament in 2028 has also been planned.
This will be the 2nd time Dong Nai has organized this attractive international women's volleyball tournament, after the first time in 2011. In that year's tournament, the Information Corps team won the championship after defeating Vietsovpetro with a score of 3-0 in the final.
VTV9 - Binh Dien Cup is the only international women's volleyball tournament in Vietnam for club level. Through 15 tournaments organized, the tournament is highly appreciated for its professional quality, creating competition between domestic and international teams.

Each time the tournament takes place, the organizers carefully consider selecting quality guest teams to create attraction for the tournament. In addition to the host team VTV Binh Dien Long An, the strongest women's volleyball teams in Vietnam such as Binh Chung Thong Tin, VietinBank, LPB Ninh Binh... all regularly participate in the tournament.
With international teams, teams from strong volleyball nations of Asia and the world such as China, USA, Japan, DPRK, Kazakhstan, Thailand... have all participated.
This year, the 15th tournament is held in Tay Ninh from May 15 to 23, attracting the participation of 8 teams including: VTV Binh Dien Long An (host), Ninh Binh, Information Corps, Industrial and Commercial Bank, Hanoi, Gunma Green Wings (Japan), Suwon (Korea) and Jiangsu (China).
20 matches at the tournament have offered the audience exciting and competitive competitions. The quality of the tournament has been confirmed when 10/14 players of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team participated in competitions for clubs. Other outstanding young players of Vietnamese volleyball such as Pham Quynh Huong, Bao Ngoc, Le Thuy Linh... also had outstanding performances.
For international teams, they see the VTV9 - Binh Dien Cup as a useful tournament to improve professional qualifications. Jiangsu Club - the champion of the tournament brought a quality squad. During the tournament, 3 of their members were called up to the Chinese national team - the team currently ranked 6th in the world. Gunma Green Wings or Suwon City also brought a highly competitive squad. Although the achievements were not as expected, they gave their all in the matches.
With prestige and quality that have been affirmed, the VTV9 - Dong Nai International Women's Volleyball Cup 2027 promises to attract strong teams, creating an attractive and explosive tournament in Dong Nai city.
