As the reigning national champion of 2024, VTV Binh Dien Long An is the representative of Vietnam participating in the 2025 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship. Coming to the continental tournament, the coach will still keep the same squad that has competed in domestic tournaments, while also strengthening the main striker Vi Thi Nhu Quynh (Quang Ninh).
In the group stage, the Western team fell into a difficult group as their opponents were all strong teams. Thanh Thuy and her teammates suffered a 2-3 defeat to Beijing BAIC Motor but then won 3-1 against Saipa Tehran to finish second in Group C. This result put the representative of Vietnam in the quarter-finals.
In this round, VTV Binh Dien Long An faced Kaohsiung Taipower. It seemed like a difficult match for coach Thai Quang Lai's team, but Thanh Thuy, Nhu Quynh, Lu Thi Phuong... shined, bringing a 3-1 victory to VTV Binh Dien Long An, bringing the Vietnamese team to the final of the tournament.
In the semi-finals, VTV Binh Dien Long An met opponent Beijing BAIC Motor, the opponent made VTV Binh Dien Long An receive a 2-3 defeat in the group stage. However, to this competition, the girls of the Western team had experience dealing. Both the defense and the public play are stable, especially the trio of Thanh Thuy, Nhu Quynh and Lu Thi Phuong to play sublimation to help the home team win 3-1 against the opponent.
This result not only helped VTV Binh Dien Long An reach the final of the tournament but also helped the Vietnamese representative qualify for the 2025 Women's World Club Volleyball Championship. This is the third consecutive time that Vietnamese women's volleyball has had a representative in this playground.

In the final match against Zhetysu, under the leadership of coach Thai Quang Lai, VTV Binh Dien Long An beat their opponent in set 2, but that was not enough when Zhetysu had a quality squad with outstanding height. In the end, VTV Binh Dien Long An lost 1-3 to Zhetysu and closed the 2025 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship with the runner-up position.
In addition to collective achievements, the Vietnamese team also showed a strong individual mark. There are 3 players of the team, Thanh Thuy (Best Opposite Setter), Vi Thi Nhu Quynh (Best Striker) and Khanh Dang (Best Defender) who have been honored with individual awards.
In general, the achievement of VTV Binh Dien Long An in the last tournament is no coincidence but the result of investment, careful preparation of personnel and tactics. The runner -up of the Asian tournament and the ticket to the world arena for the club is an important step in the development journey of VTV Binh Dien Long An.
This is a testament to the maturity and aspiration to reach out to the world of one of the most traditional teams in Vietnamese women's volleyball. With what they have shown in the Asian playground, coach Thai Quang Lai and his team have received high expectations for the 2025 Women's World Club Championship, scheduled to take place in December.
