On November 29, the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation held the First Congress, term 2025-2030. The Congress took place in the context of merging the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation and the Binh Duong Football Federation after the administrative boundaries were adjusted.

In his opening speech, Interim President Tran Anh Tu appreciated the outstanding results that Ho Chi Minh City football has achieved in recent times, especially in women's football and futsal. These two fields continue to hold the leading position in the country, while contributing an important force to the Vietnam national teams and achieving many achievements in the international arena.
The Congress identified 6 key tasks for the new term, including: improving the quality of the youth and school football training system; investing in developing top-notch clubs and women's football; continuing to affirm the position of Ho Chi Minh City futsal football; professionalize tournament organization; increase sponsorship mobilization - towards financial autonomy; promote the application of technology in governance and communication.
The Congress also approved the First Round Charter with appropriate adjustments after the merger, including updating the head office, organization model and allowing HFF to establish a subsidiary to increase financial autonomy.

Regarding personnel, the Congress elected 17 members of the Executive Committee, including 1 Chairman, 4 Vice Chairmen and 12 members. Mr. Tran Anh Tu was elected to hold the position of President of the HFF for the first term of 2025-2030.
The Vice Presidents include: Nguyen Duc Thanh, Ngo Le Bang, Ho Ngoc Thach and Ngo Van lui. Mr. Tran Dinh Huan was appointed as General Secretary, along with three Deputy General Secretaries: Do Van Toan, Do Huu Le Xuan Cuong and Hoang Ngoc Tuan. Mr. Doan Minh Xuong holds the position of Head of the Inspection Committee.

At the Congress, Thai Son Nam Group announced a sponsorship of 20 billion VND for the 2025-2030 term, continuing to affirm HFF's strategic partner role. This support is considered an important resource for HFF to implement programs to develop futsal, amateur football, youth training and improve governance capacity in the new period.
