Goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung was born on February 28, 1997 in Ngoc Lac district, Thanh Hoa province. In 2013, he joined Thanh Hoa youth team and quickly proved his talent. In 2016, Bui Tien Dung was registered by Thanh Hoa to play in V.League and in 2017, he was promoted to the first team.
Bui Tien Dung was also one of the factors participating in the 2017 U20 World Cup of the Vietnam U20 team. By 2018, he became the number one goalkeeper of the Vietnam U23 team and had excellent performances in the 2018 U23 Asia campaign in Changzhou (China).
Tien Dung's excellent performance in this tournament, especially his amazing penalty saves, contributed greatly to bringing U23 Vietnam to the final.
However, after this achievement, Bui Tien Dung's career has been quite bumpy. He has drifted through clubs such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi Police and Hoang Anh Gia Lai.
