Thanh Thuy once shared that the process of training and competing in Japan helped her learn and accumulate a lot because Japanese sports have the top professionalism in Asia, all volleyball players who come here to compete learn that professionalism.
From the warm-up movements to the direct competition, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy has never had a superficial attitude. She said that Japanese volleyball helps players understand a very important value, which is that the player himself is the one who decides his own success, cannot depend on anyone, and if he is a good and professional person in his sport, he will receive a good income accordingly.

Initial basic training
18 teams (9 men's teams, 9 women's teams) participating in the 2024 National Volleyball Championship are all recruiting and training young players. In addition, teams in the A-class volleyball tournament also carry out the above task.
“Young players are built in character and professional style right from the beginning. Therefore, training them requires the most dedicated teachers. In particular, how disciplined or professional a player is depends on the first step of training,” Vice President of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation - Mr. Tran Duc Phan once shared.
When young boys and girls are selected to join volleyball teams, they are blank sheets of paper. They will gradually form their personalities and professional characteristics through the training process. Many players after the basic training period have developed their skills well, becoming famous to become national players.
Many players who do not have the best development have had to say goodbye to their career as high-performance volleyball players. Volleyball is a team sport. For a team to be successful and have professionalism in its activities, each element (player) is the nucleus that together makes the best for the whole team.
This is the reason why all volleyball teams in Vietnam focus very carefully on professional training for young players and also teach them many lessons to become professional sports people.
