On the afternoon of March 12, the Vietnam team officially entered the first training session in Binh Duong to prepare for the upcoming two matches against Cambodia and Laos. In this training session, center back Do Duy Manh was assigned to answer interviews.
Although he is a familiar face and is often called up to the national team, Duy Manh still could not hide his excitement when meeting his teammates on the national team.
Before this training session, Duy Manh was injured and absent from 2 matches of Hanoi FC in the V.League. Sharing before the training session, Duy Manh said that his current condition is fine.

"I am fine now and can return to practice with the team. Some of them have suffered minor injuries and have to practice recovery with doctors to regain their best physical condition soon so that they can return to practice and compete," Duy Manh said.
In this training session, coach Kim Sang-sik called up many young players such as rookie Ly Duc, Minh Khoa, Vi Hao, ... Duy Manh hopes that the new players will soon adapt to the team.
" Those are the decisions of the coaching staff. I hope that my teammates, whether big or young, will soon adapt and integrate best so that they can perform well, so that they can compete well for the team.
I think the fiercer the competition, the better and more positive it is for the Vietnamese team. Hopefully everyone will be in good shape as well as do everything best to be able to contribute well to Vietnamese football", Duy Manh said.

The weather conditions in Binh Duong at this time are quite different from the Northern region when the temperature is high during the day and there is often rain in the afternoon. Duy Manh said that this is also a difficulty that the whole team must quickly get used to.
He said: "The weather in Binh Duong yesterday, when the team moved in, had some problems in the afternoon. I think my teammates will try to adapt to the weather in Binh Duong to be able to practice and compete well".
Before answering the interview, Duy Manh assessed the two upcoming opponents of the Vietnam team, Cambodia and Laos.
"For now, the whole team is focusing on the national team first and will try to practice and play well. The upcoming opponents of the Vietnam team are Cambodia and Laos, I think there will not be an easy match. Everyone has to work hard to have the best preparation to play well against the two opponents", Duy Manh concluded.
The match between Vietnam and Laos in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup will take place at 7:30 p.m. on March 25.
