Today (September 20), the final match of the second phase of the 2025 SEA V.League volleyball tournament took place in Indonesia.
In the early match, the Vietnam men's volleyball team won 3-1 against the Philippines. Ngoc Thuan and his teammates maintained an active game against this opponent. The Vietnamese players defeated the Philippines thanks to their cohesive team playing style as well as the brilliance of individuals.
Meanwhile, the remaining match is considered the "final" of the tournament when Indonesia and Thailand compete for the highest position. With enthusiastic cheers from home fans as well as their bravery, Indonesia excellently defeated the champion of the first leg Thailand with a score of 3-2.
With this result, Indonesia became the champion of the second phase of the 2025 SEA V.League. Meanwhile, the Vietnam men's volleyball team finished second to win the silver medal. Thailand sadly won the bronze medal when they were 1 match behind Vietnam.
Similar to the first leg, the Philippines and Cambodia shared 4th and 5th place respectively.
The Vietnam men's volleyball team has ended the 2025 SEA V.League with strong marks, in which improving performance and winning medals in both stages is a positive and commendable signal of coach Tran Dinh Tien's team.
At the end of the journey at SEA V.League 2025, the players will have time to rest and return to their tasks at the club level to prepare for the second phase of the 2025 national championship.
