Members of the Vietnam women's volleyball team went to Bangkok (Thailand) on December 9 to warm up their professional skills.
The training session took place gently with preparation for short balls and tactics, helping players get acquainted with the formation. Also during the training session, fitness expert Karl Lim helped players do good stretching exercises to avoid injuries because the match time was approaching.
According to the record, the spirit of the 14 players and the coaching staff of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team is very comfortable and confident to enter their first match on December 10.
The Vietnam women's volleyball team will compete in the group stage on December 10, 11 and 12. Therefore, head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet requires his students to maintain the best physical condition in the face of such continuous competition.
On the afternoon of December 9, the women's volleyball ( indoor) event of the 33rd SEA Games held a technical meeting. The registration list of the teams has been carefully checked by the organizing committee.
During the meeting, professional issues were answered and the volleyball organizing committee announced a specific competition schedule. The women's volleyball (home) event of the 33rd SEA Games has the participating teams: Thailand (host, defending champion), Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia.
The final match of the 33rd SEA Games women's volleyball (home) will take place on the evening of December 15.
