This morning (6.), the Vietnam women's volleyball team continued to have a training session at Dong Anh District Gymnasium (Hanoi) to prepare for the 2025 AVC Nations Cup.
According to the latest update, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen has fully recovered from her injury, is in good physical condition and is ready to compete with her teammates. Previously, the 2000-born setter had a back injury that worried many viewers.
The return of Bich Tuyen will significantly increase the strength of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team in attack. In recent tournaments, she has been the top scorer of her team.
Thus, up to now, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet has the best force in hand to aim for the goal of defending the AVC Nations Cup 2025 title.
According to the match schedule, the Vietnam women's volleyball team will face Hong Kong (China) in the opening match taking place on June 7. Thanh Thuy and her teammates will then face Taiwan (China) on June 8, India on June 11 and Australia on June 12.
Playing at home is an advantage for the Vietnam women's volleyball team. However, that comes with a lot of pressure. As the host and defending champion, Vietnam is expected to reach the final and successfully defend the championship.
This is not an easy challenge when opponents such as Kazakhstan, Iran or Australia are all teams that are strong in both expertise and fitness.
