Sharing before the training session, head coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang said that the team spent 4 weeks of training and physical training in Vietnam, followed by a week of training to improve their skills in Japan.
After a period of careful preparation, the coaching staff has reduced the list and selected 14 players with the best form and fitness to compete in the continental tournament.
"During the recent training period, the whole team has worked seriously and made remarkable progress. The athletes are currently in good spirits, with stable physical strength and ready to enter the tournament with high determination.
Our first goal is to pass the group stage, thereby calculating the next step towards the next rounds and the world women's futsal finals", coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang shared.

The first opponent of the Vietnam women's futsal team in the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship finals is the Hong Kong team (China) who played well in the qualifying round.
Hong Kong (China) is expected to cause many difficulties for coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team. However, the coaching staff has prepared many tactical options and made adjustments to suit each specific opponent.
Regarding competition conditions, the weather in Inner Mongolia is currently colder than in Vietnam, but because they have trained in Japan in similar weather, the players can adapt faster and do not affect their physical condition.

In the first training session in China, the team mainly practiced tactical exercises and assembled the squad to complete the framework for the friendly match with the Chinese women's futsal team, taking place tomorrow (May 3).
This match is considered an important training session to review the squad and test the playing style before officially entering the group stage matches.
