Middle blocker Tran Thi Bich Thuy and main blocker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy are in Japan. They are part of the preparation plan for the 33rd SEA Games of head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet.
According to the plan, the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team will go to Vinh Long on November 15 to continue training to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games before going to Thailand. The two players will gather with their teammates in Vinh Long when they return to Vietnam in December.
Previously, the coaching staff of the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team said that each player must work with the home team in Japan to ensure time for the Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games.

Because the 33rd SEA Games is not part of the program of the FIVB World Volleyball Federation, and December is the peak period of competition in many national championships, players must be approved by their home team to be able to return to Vietnam.
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet also said that he will calculate the option of 14 official players participating in the 33rd SEA Games at the training session in Vinh Long.
The Vietnam women's volleyball team will practice professional football in the second half of 2025 in Quang Ninh from October 25. Currently, the team has enough 20 players to practice. Fitness expert Karl Lim has arrived in Vietnam to work with the team.
