Coach Kim Sang-sik has mobilized special personnel for the U22 Vietnam team in the training session to prepare for the 2025 CFA Team China friendly tournament.

It is known that goalkeeper coach Lee Won-jae will be transferred to work for the U22 Vietnam team in preparation for the 2025 CFA Team China friendly tournament. Mr. Lee Won-jae will coordinate with current goalkeeper coach Mr. Tran Minh Quang to support the young players during this time.

After Tran Trung Kien (Hoang Anh Gia Lai) was called up to the national team by Nguyen Filip, currently, the U22 Vietnam team has 3 goalkeepers: Ho Tung Han (Balestier Khalsa), Nguyen Tan (Ba Ria Vung Tau) and Cao Van Binh (Song Lam Nghe An).

Among them, Ho Tung Han has just played quite impressively in the national championship as well as the Singapore National Cup and returned to Vietnam on March 10 to join the Vietnam U22 team.

In the coming days, two coaches Lee Won-jae and Tran Minh Quang will directly guide and coach 3 young goalkeepers. All three players will be given the opportunity by former head coach Dinh Hong Vinh at the 2025 CFA Team China tournament to prove their abilities.

CFA Team China 2025 takes place from March 20 to March 25. According to the schedule, U22 Vietnam will meet South Korea (20.2), China (23.3) and Uzbekistan (25.3). These matches will help young players gain more experience in fighting towards the 33rd SEA Games, taking place in December in Thailand.
